Disneyland, again

We went to Disneyland for the day with my sister Karen and Ralph's brother Kent and his family. As always, it was the happiest place on earth. It was the first day it was decorated for Christmas.

It was a bit bright once the morning fog burned off.

Amber's favorite is the Merry Go Round.

After 11 hours in the park, "I'm so tired, but I'm still having fun!"

My girls didn't quite know what to do with sand at the park. Amber asked if she could take her shoes off, ready for a no answer, and was surprised when I said yes. All of the parks in Utah have bark.

Hannah wouldn't take her shoes off, but she did finally remember how to walk on sand.
My favorite cousin, Kendra.

November, Here and Gone

November started with a trip to This is the Place monument with our friends and their three little Bears. (That's their last name.)

And this is why we only buy washable markers. She even drew in her hair!

First Snow. Ready to play.

She finally caught the bug. She usually cried when I tried to dress her up.

Amber was so happy to have a dress up buddy, finally.
And then she tried Cinderella...
She stuck with Snow White. It's a little shorter so she didn't trip over it. She's pretty smart.

The Rest of October

My ongoing project, I made the quilts for the girls. I just finished the pillow shams, and got material for the dust ruffles, bed skirts. I have to get those made before we move away from my mom and her sewing machine, who knows when that will happen.

Gotta love little girls and the things they find to wear while they play.

Her hair is getting longer! I think she is so cute with two, tiny pony tails.

Happy Halloween!

Birthday Dinner

I am a picture poster slacker. Here are pictures from Ralph's birthday dinner. Notice a theme? I tried to make a nicer meal, but we used paper basketball plates! (I thought it was funny.)

Ralph's Birthday!

Ralph woke up to a string hunt, but we weren't dressed yet, so here is the loot.

Opening a present from Ralph's parents in law.

Hannah waits with bated breath and a full mouth.

A Spanish bible and the New Testament on CD in Spanish. A very thoughtful gift.

Some goofy family pictures.

The girls and their cousin posing outside of our Ikea steal of a tent.

Pumpkin, anyone?

I am in charge of the mom and me group in our church ward. We went to the pumpkin patch. Thanks to the two out of 14 mom's on my list who came. Here are a few pictures.

Amber and two of the six boys all born the same year. It is Amber and six or seven boys the same age in her nursery class.

Amber and Hannah in a huge pumpkin.

We Love General Conference

Because that means doughnuts with frosting and sprinkles... (Amber stuffed the rest of the doughnut into her mouth, then said with her mouth very full, can I have another one?)

And listening to our Prophet, President Monson.

Family Pictures

I used to think that I was a creative person. Blogging should be the background for my juices to flow. But I feel at a loss these days. So here is my boring, to the point, title for this picture. It's my family at Ralph's brother's wedding.

Sleep Amber, Sleep

We have been finding Amber asleep in the strangest positions when we tuck her in. We usually turn off her night light before we go to bed. Here are two of the funniest ones.

Here's Amber with her best friend, Finn.

Ralph's Turn

Ralph has been great since he has been home. He can do bath time, bed time, meals, and even has taken a turn carrying the girls ON his tummy.
