Happy Fourth of July!

Driving up to a Hinkson campout, Hannah and Amber started laughing on the bumpy dirt road.

Cruising down the road.

Ready for some shootin'.

Dinner at the Lion House for my mother's birthday, July 3rd.

Cute Amber and her cute cousin had so much fun playing together.

My sisters, and some nieces and Amber.

Grandma and the grandkids.

Some 4th swimming.

Amber and Hannah were chowing down with Daddy.

Daddy's Home!

Ralph arrived home on June 25th after 11pm. It took him six days to make the trek. When he got home, we celebrated Father's Day the next morning. Here's Amber giving him a monkey that she painted at Color Me Mine.

And here is the tie that Hannah got for Ralph, it's hanging in his face, but captures the moment.
Ralph got home in time to celebrate our 7th Anniversary together. We went to Japanese food, an to a movie. It's the first movie that I had gone to since Hannah was born, in March 2008.

I received a Rosetta Stone program so that Amber and I can start to learn Spanish.
The girls fell sick that Wednesday, the 24th, I fell sick the night we went out for our anniversary, so expect better welcome home pictures once everyone is feeling better. It's been a long, hard, sickness. We are so happy Daddy is home, and won't ever leave us for that long again. Now if he has to go for a month, piece of cake. It's all relative.

June Update

We tried to to fun things to make the time pass until Daddy got home. Here are some highlights.  Just hanging out.

Childhood moments caught on film.

When we can't find Hannah, she usually is sitting by the window reading books.

The pink/red couch at the cupcake store. Yes, there is a whole store that sells mini cupcakes. It's Amber's favorite place.
The first really warm day in a while.

Hannah is sad, but I think the face is really cute. Had to capture it.

Hannah got a new hairdo.

But she was acting so cross, I thought it might be hurting her head. So I took them out. Turns out it wasn't the hairdo that was making he cross.

The girls love to go to their aunt's house.

And they love the Discovery Gateway, this time we went with their cousins.
