Sleep Amber, Sleep

We have been finding Amber asleep in the strangest positions when we tuck her in. We usually turn off her night light before we go to bed. Here are two of the funniest ones.

Here's Amber with her best friend, Finn.

Ralph's Turn

Ralph has been great since he has been home. He can do bath time, bed time, meals, and even has taken a turn carrying the girls ON his tummy.

August Highlights

Hanging out after church.

She was just too cute, I had to take a picture.

Swimming, also, too cute. (She let me put two french braids in her hair!)

Playing with Hannah at the Discovery Gateway.

One last use of the matching Easter Dresses. She even kept the big, obnoxious bow in her hair all during church.

New tent from Ikea for ten bucks!

The Last of California

The most peaceful 10 minutes at the beach the whole summer... was when the girls were bury up to their chest!

By the end of the four weeks of vacation, Hannah had learned to like the sand. She rolled around in it the whole time during our last outing to the beach, and ate it.

On the way home and very happy. Shamu from Sea World, her favorite pink blanket, and the bright pink on the edge of her lap is a Sleeping Beauty doll.

Amber had her dolphin, Cinderella, and her favorite purple blanket all on her lap.
We had the time of our lives, and got our long awaited summer tans.

Disneyland, here we come!

We made it to Disneyland. We were going to go for the morning, go home for naps, and come back, but the girls did so well we stayed the whole day and saw everything the girls would have been able to see.

Amber loved the carousal.

Hannah didn't.

Mr Toad's Wild Ride. Probably not the best choice for the first ride to take the girls on.

Ralph and Hannah waited while Amber and I went on the Dumbo ride. Amber kept us soaring up high the whole time.

I have to share all of these pictures, because we waited almost one and a half hours to see the princesses! But it was all worth it to see Amber's face when she first saw Cinderella, her absolute favorite princess. It was almost a sacred experience for Amber. (Hannah cried when I took her in too close.)

We decided to have ice cream for dinner and wait to watch the parade. Amber's face is priceless, watching her favorite character coming her way.

The second day we took Amber by herself and spoiled her a bit. We tried out California Adventure, had never been there before. We decided we would rather spend our time at Disneyland, but the Toy Story ride was really fun!

Amber LOVES Playhouse Disney. I was really excited for her to get to see it live on stage. Probably more excited then she was!

If you have little girls who are Princess crazy and don't mind spending money for some good food, I would suggest Arial's Grotto in California Adventure. It's a set price for a three corse meal with a drink, and five princesses come around to every table to greet the mini-princesses. But lucky us did this, and waited an hour and a half to see three princesses.

Amber loved the Carrousels/Merry go rounds. We rode on them four times!

On the big Mickey ferris wheel.

Amber got an after lunch treat.

We completely wore her out. Within a few minutes in the car, she was fast asleep. We went home for a rest.

Then went back in the evening to met Tinkerbell and see the night shows.

The third day, Ralph and I went by ourselves, from 9 am to 10 pm!

Cousin Kendra joined us for the afternoon/evening.
We had a great/exhausting time, would go back in a minute, but hopefully next time without a double stroller in tow.
