We made it to Disneyland. We were going to go for the morning, go home for naps, and come back, but the girls did so well we stayed the whole day and saw everything the girls would have been able to see.
Mr Toad's Wild Ride. Probably not the best choice for the first ride to take the girls on.
Ralph and Hannah waited while Amber and I went on the Dumbo ride. Amber kept us soaring up high the whole time.
I have to share all of these pictures, because we waited almost one and a half hours to see the princesses! But it was all worth it to see Amber's face when she first saw Cinderella, her absolute favorite princess. It was almost a sacred experience for Amber. (Hannah cried when I took her in too close.)
We decided to have ice cream for dinner and wait to watch the parade. Amber's face is priceless, watching her favorite character coming her way.
The second day we took Amber by herself and spoiled her a bit. We tried out California Adventure, had never been there before. We decided we would rather spend our time at Disneyland, but the Toy Story ride was really fun!
Amber LOVES Playhouse Disney. I was really excited for her to get to see it live on stage. Probably more excited then she was!
If you have little girls who are Princess crazy and don't mind spending money for some good food, I would suggest Arial's Grotto in California Adventure. It's a set price for a three corse meal with a drink, and five princesses come around to every table to greet the mini-princesses. But lucky us did this, and waited an hour and a half to see three princesses.
Amber loved the Carrousels/Merry go rounds. We rode on them four times!
Amber got an after lunch treat.
We completely wore her out. Within a few minutes in the car, she was fast asleep. We went home for a rest.
Then went back in the evening to met Tinkerbell and see the night shows.
The third day, Ralph and I went by ourselves, from 9 am to 10 pm!
Cousin Kendra joined us for the afternoon/evening.
We had a great/exhausting time, would go back in a minute, but hopefully next time without a double stroller in tow.
