Six Months Old Already?

We found that Bruce likes his feet. He starts to fuss, we take his shoes and socks off, and he's happy for 20 more minutes after.

Just laying around one night.
The many faces of Hannah.

Learning to sit up. Still a little top heavy.

On Bruce's six month birthday.

Christmas and New Years

Over the course of the month, we made Gingersnaps about four times. I would make the ball and the girls would roll them in sugar.

Hinkson Christmas Eve party at our house. The girls with their new fancy things.

Ralph spent the whole day making all of this wonderful Middle Eastern food. Survey says, Ralph and Julie don't like Middle Eastern food.

One of the games, marshmallow toss. Hugh showing his skills.

Followed by Mark.

Our cousin Hank holding Bruce. Hank will be two in March, and when Bruce was born, we all called him Hank for the first week.

Christmas Eve brunch in Park City. Celebrating our niece's 19th birthday!

As we got in the car to go, I looked over and saw the group getting their picture taken by my brother. This is the group in front of the restaurant. A Merrill family tradition.

Hannah and Eli play so well now! Merrill Christmas Eve party.

Ready to go see our presents!

Christmas Day visitors.

No pictures of New Years Eve, but we had the Merrills over for pizza, left over treats, a murder mystery game, and to celebrate our nephew's 3rd birthday. It was a really fun night!

Five Months Old

Five Months Old. It was late, I didn't get a good picture.

Discovery Gateway. Even Bruce had a place to play.

Our firefighter girls. Hannah kept calling Amber, "Firefighter Amber, come over here!"

The girls being brave in the car wash. Usually they are scared and crying the whole time.

Temple Square!

Interesting praying positions.

Santa Bruce!

Four Months Old

Bruce is Four Months Old. He weights 16.5 pounds and is 26.2 inches tall. He's a big guy! And so much fun.

Hannah saw herself in a window and said, "Mommy, I dressed like Abby Cadabby." I thought that was funny. (Abby has two big puffs on the side of her head.)

Amber got this new sweater and loves it. It's warm and cozy and she wears it like a coat.

I made Amber take a picture of me, until we got one that I liked. Just so people know, I do have a face.

Happy Halloween!

We started off Halloween at a friend's house for a party. Here is our happy little monkey.

Bruce with our friend's little girl.

The Southern Bell and Snow White.

We went to Wheeler Farms on October 29th.

Then Trunk or Treating on Halloween. (Amber was Cinderella for school and a Wedding Girl for Halloween.)

The Nursery Is Done!

I'm really excited about this. I have never had a nursery to decorate myself. It's been a corner of a room, with hand me down stuff, or a toddler's room, but this has been really fun for me to do Bruce's room. What do you think?

He Really Smiles Now!

Ralph took a morning off and we went to the Zoo. So much fun.

Our traditional picture with the kids and the prophet during conference.

We threw Ralph a surprise party. I was a super surprise because it was a week before his birthday! He had no idea. The girls and Ralph on his string hunt.

Amber got him a shirt, and wanted to try it on.

Then of course Hannah had to try on the pants she got him!

We went to Southern California. We really enjoyed spending time with our friends and their twin two year olds. The kids got along very well together. (Amber is great with two year olds.)

Our three kids.

We also spent time with Karen. This is Corona Del Mar. Beautiful beach!

October 11 is Ralph and Karen's birthdays. We went out to breakfast together, then went to a park, then out to lunch together! It was so much fun to be with Karen on the birthdays.

And Bruce is officially three months old. It was a little sad putting the 0-3 month clothes away, but I got over it pretty quickly. Now that he is three months old, and because Hannah finally gave up the crib, he has a bed in his room! Pictures to come.
